The content of the pages of this website are for your general information and a way of contacting us only, it is a photo gallery showing some items that may have already been sold. It is subject to change without notice including any prices, which can fluctuate, due to the individual price of each piece of antique cutlery and the current price of silver, at the time that we buy it.

All prices shown on our website are not fixed, as each piece is handmade and in some cases we can alter the size of some items to fit around individual needs and budgets on request.

Please note: Silver Spoon By Gilly Jewellery is not suitable for small children or babies. We do not take any responsibility if you let your children or babies wear our jewellery or leave it with them unsupervised and any harm comes to them.

Our Jewellery is NOT allergy tested so please do not wear it if you have any type of reaction to metals, as we do not take responsibility for allergic reactions.

Our jewellery is hand made and formed from old original antique silver spoons and other items of used cutlery, which is mostly not fit for the original purpose, due to many years of heavy use and inevitable wear & tear. We are very passionate about bringing unloved cutlery back to life, rescuing it from being melted down and lost forever. We buy all of our cutlery, in good faith, from reputable dealers/outlets and trust that the information they have provided us with is correct. We do not take responsibility for any incorrect information given to us from a second party, however we will offer you a full refund or exchange if written information given to you, is found to be incorrect.

We do not hand make the chains, chain bracelets, jump rings, ear hooks, posts and other components ourselves, that make up part of our jewellery.

Neither do we hand make any of the components that we put together for our Support Maggie's Charity jewellery range, including the letter charms. Any fault found with these items please contact us for further advice from the manufacturer.

Due to the age and pre-owned nature of the cutlery we use to make our jewellery, we do not give any type of guarantee on these items. There may also be authentic scratches or imperfections on the finished article, which have been purposely left there, as this adds to the character and individuality of our jewellery, in which you are buying into, and will not be classed as damaged or faulty.

Any orders that can not be met, for any reason, will be fully refunded.

You will receive a change of use certificate with your purchase, only for those items that legally require one.

RETURNS

 

We only offer exchanges on ready made items only within 28 days of purchase.

The only exception is if there is an error on our part such as a spelling mistake or a fault with the item. This must be discussed and agreed first before sending anything back. Should this be the case, we will refund or replace the item for you. 

We can't remake, repair or refund without proof of purchase of the original item.

There are no refunds or exchanges given for change of mind for jewellery that is custom made for you.

Please check all details are correct and to your satisfaction before placing your order. We reserve the right to judge our own quality and we will do our absolute best to send out to you the highest quality pieces.
SSBG will not be held responsible for the following -
If a product has been modified, changed or repaired by someone other than SSBG.
Any faults or defects from wear and tear or lack of proper care and cleaning.
Any defects resulting from neglect, accidental damage or misuse.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

 

REPAIRS

 

If an item is damaged due to production faults you may return your item for repair, free of charge, up to 6 months after purchase, this may be extended at our discretion.

 

Any items returned for repair damaged by you, will be chargeable.

 

For your own security, all returns should be sent by signed for delivery. We are unable to assume liability for damage, loss or theft during transport.
